Paperback ✓ Paris PDF/EPUB Ü paris mobile, Paris PDFRemind me to tell EVERYONE I KNOW they should read this The only reasons it doesn't get that 5th star are didn't show enough of the two leading ladies' initial bonding and they seemingly only met 3 times That 'true love at first sight' and subsequent 'I'm completely devastated that I just my soulmate' tropes don't belong in a book this goodAlso I do GET that it's the graphic novel equivalent to a short story or novella but it still should have stretched out for another issue The last scene and panel are a fabulous ending but it felt like the emotional resonance wasn't as strong as it should have been

Paperback ✓ Paris PDF/EPUB Ü paris mobile, Paris PDFThis was a really fast read so fast that I read almost the entire thing on my half hour train commute this morning and was forced to stop at a bookstore after work so I'd have something to read on the trip home Even for a graphic novel this book was pretty light on the text But the story about an art student and a debutante who find love in 1950s Paris was pretty delightful and the illustrations were really interesting It definitely did not ha

Paperback ✓ Paris PDF/EPUB Ü paris mobile, Paris PDFA pleasing if unsurprising love story about two women in 1950s Paris Deborah a British girl from the upper class and Juliet the American art student commissioned to paint her Simon Gane's blocky art takes a bit to get used to but is oddly perfect for the the European surroundings unfortunately this means the later scenes in rural America aren't as differentiated as one might wish This short story is probably the right length for what it is yet we never feel for the main characters quite nearly enough to give the forced separation any real weight Still enjoyable enough for

Paperback ✓ Paris PDF/EPUB Ü paris mobile, Paris PDFI didn't find this book to be very thrilling or new It kind of rehashed the themes of love and longing in a way that didn't seem very passionate at all The characters were a bit stereotypical and weren't developed enough for me to have feelings for themThe theme of homosexuality is brave and praiseworthy but the characters and plot were just so 2 D that I really couldn't embrace anything about this book

Paperback ✓ Paris PDF/EPUB Ü paris mobile, Paris PDFI won't give star ratings to books that I worked on as an editor but I will review them Paris is a beautiful book about love and art and learning how to use one's passion Andi Watson's story makes what some would see as an unconventional romance seem like the most natural thing in the world and Simon Gane's art is simply to die for

Paperback ✓ Paris PDF/EPUB Ü paris mobile, Paris PDFFull disclosure Andi and I are pals and I have a blurb on the back of this book I think that blurb speaks for itself so here it isWhen reading Paris one's head swims as if we ourselves were Andi Watson's love drunk heroine His scripts make our knees weak but Simon Gane's art catches us as we crumble completing the seduction with casual grace
