Oh what a lovely read I dont know how Belle makes these so darn perfect I m usually a little cynical over romance books but I can t get enough Renshaw The integration of the bike accident was creative Characters were well fleshed out I loved the scenery and the Bb I would totally visit That ending is perfect Next book please As Easy As Riding A Bike was a fun, contemporary, novella. The main characters were amazing, even though we just hear a little about their past, you can see the how much the characters have grown. The plot was good, I loved the little town of Justin Harbor, and am excited to seeof it in this series.I would have liked to have seen a littleof the side characters, and learnedabout them, but I am sure that will happen as the series progresses Overall, I really enjoyed this novella keep reading keep exploring galaxies Do you have that one author who you wish their stories would just KEEP going, or they would pump out books faster Yeah, that s Bell for me This lady is so talented This is her second book and I CANNOT wait forto be published Her stories don t fell rushed, even with such a short length Everything always lines up perfectly, while her stories stay sweet and so satisfying. As soon as I laid my eyeballs on the words, I was transported to a small town in Oregon I instantly fell in love with Justin Harbor and its people, and severely wish it was a REAL town Anytime I read stories based in small fishing towns I think of Murder She Wrote , and I have GREAT memories of that show So when they are pulled off like this one was I just want everyone to love it as much a me I loved the characters of this book Emma was such a hard working, independent woman She knew what she wanted and she went after it She was a homegrown gal, with roots that ran deep She had the sweetest personality, with a bit of quirk Overall she was a fun character to get to know,Connor, oh Connor man can this girl write a hero A photographer with a thirst for adventure YES PLEASE He was so lost, and needed to come home to find peace He could have taken care of some situations better in my opinion, but then we wouldn t have had the spat we had towards the end You ll have to read the book to figure out what I m talking about Even through it all he was so sweet such a gentleman There was a great foundation for this couple before the book even started, since this does have a best friend to boyfriend troupe LOVE IT There was great tension, a falling out that needed to be fixed Ugh all the aspects to a PERFECT Hallmark movie This book is marketed as a clean, sweet read , but it had some light faith elements running throughout the story I rated this a 4.5 5 stars I really loved seeing a different side of Bell s descriptive abilities, as well as her imagination Both of her stories have played out like Hallmark movies and it s been GRAND She s drawn me in to a new town, and I cannot wait to dock at Justin Harbor again soon As Easy As Riding A Bike 2018 by Bell Renshaw is the first book in her Justin Harbor series This sweet novella was released yesterday, February 14, 2018, by Pine Mountain Publishing, and can be purchased wherever books are sold This novella comes in all forms including eBook, and is 115 pages in length With a full time job and a very lively five year old, this book took me less than one day to read I received a review copy of this novella in eBook form from the author In no way has this influenced my review The opinions expressed in this review are my own I give this novella 4.5 STARS As Easy As Riding A Bike is a Contemporary Clean Romance. As Easy As Riding A Bike is the first book I ve read by Bell Renshaw, but it will definitely not be my last This novella is a sweet, fast paced read My one and only complaint is that it is too short I really neededof Emma and Connor s story they are SO cute Bell Renshaw does a really good job of realistically portraying how it would feel to have the love of your life walk back into your life after he chose to leave ten years ago Emma is the perfect emotional mix of prickly, sad, thrilled, curious, and cautious I like how it took her time to thaw towards Connor she warms to the idea of being a friend and figuring out why he abandoned her ten years ago, but she is not going to give away her heart so easily this time around I really like that about her It makes Emma a very realistic character, one whose story I could really buy.I have four brothers, so I know the dumb they are capable of doing I also know how selfish boys can be But, I also know the greatness they are capable of doing and the strong, mature men they can become What I really love about Connor s character, and what makes him so believable to me, is that he was a boy who made very selfish choices, but is now a mature man who wants to take responsibility for his past and present actions The fact he wants to set his life on a better course and make better choices, and apologize for the things he did in his past, really endeared Connor to me Connor s problem is that he just doesn t know how to fix everything, and I found myself shaking my head a time or two and chuckling at his antics Overall, I found Connor to be a very sweet, likable character, and I found myself rooting for him and Emma the entire time.As Easy As Riding A Bike is a really sweet romance that I thoroughly enjoyed The characters are well written and endearing, the plot line while very quick is fun and engaging, and the fictional Justin Harbor is charming and quaint I highly recommend this novella, and I now eagerly await the next book in this series, As Easy As Cherry Pie, due out May 2018. Happiness has found Emma Holland She s finally working towards her dream as a small business owner in her small town, and then he returns.Connor Pearson is famous for his photography, a career that has required he travel the world Now he s returned to Justin Harbor searching for the lens that will show him his future Little does he expect the feelings Emma will again stir in him The second of author Bell Renshaw s stories I ve read and only the second she s released , As Easy as Riding a Bike steps away from the Christmas cheer of One Christmas in Winter into a new small town atmosphere Step inside Justin Harbor, and you ll meet charming and quirky characters who waste no time in working their way into our hearts. In this small town, readers will feel as if they ve stepped into their favorite Hallmark Channel small town It s sweet and as previously stated, the residents are sure to make an impression Supported by lovely characters who make it fun to try and pick out who s story is coming pretty sure I can guess which lady will next find her happily ever after , Emma and Connor flourish as characters Their sweet and all too few scenes together are pinned together with nothingthan feelings of mutual atraction, and the weight of their past The story is one that, though completely charming as is, will also appeal to those who don t like stories with copious kissing.Anyone looking for a charming, easy and simple read to enjoy over the weekend won t regret picking up As Easy as Riding a Bike It s darling, and the image of the cover reflects exactly the kind of warm, cozy feels you ll experience through the story This truly is a story easy to fall head over heels in love with Sincere thanks to the author for providing an e copy of this book all opinions are my own. I loved reading about Justin Harbor, Oregon the place felt like its own character to me Bell Renshaw did a wonderful job of detailing the small town and making it come to life from the people, the places and the atmosphere As for the actual love story, I didn t like that as much Mainly, because I wasn t crazy about Connor For most of the novella, he is in a relationship with someone who he wants to break up with but doesn t And instead of facing the situation, he ignores her calls and makes his assistant handle her by stalling for him, lying for him All so he can have distance to figure out what to say to her to end the relationship and figure out himself But it s obvious to the readers that he has an idea of what he wants to say because he s already been thinking about his reasons for days He already has an idea of the person he wants to be because that s why he returned to Justin Harbor I believe those things don t matter in regard to how confident and firm he is in the fact that he wants to end his relationship but allows it to prolong He wasn t having doubts or uncertainties, he knew what we wanted to do and ran away Regardless of who his girlfriend is and how she acts or even how the breakup could affect his career, I thought it was a lousy and spineless thing to do Although, he is human And he does regret his mistakes and the consequences they produced, that s when I started to be endeared to him But how he handled that situation was beyond frustrating and it lasted for majority of the book I can see him as someone that just made big mistakes, which he regrets and apologizes for But he never made me swoon or cheer for him.I liked Emma Her mixed emotions about Connor were honest and I loved her entrepreneurial spirit to renovate her cabin lodge I also wish we could have had the chance to cling to build a stronger connection with some of the secondary characters who were introduced, but hopefully we will see most of them again as the series continues.I didn t connect with this book, but I m still hopeful about the next book in the series and excited to revisit Justin Harbor again Overall, I failed to become emotionally attached to this couple, despite their journey and sweet HEA, because of Connor s shortsighted actions for majority of the book.I received a complimentary copy of As Easy as Riding a Bike by Bell Renshaw this has not affected my honest opinion or review. Emma Holland Is Almost Finished With The Renovation Of The Brown Bear Lodge Nestled Just Off The Pacific CoastHighway In Picturesque Justin Harbor, Oregon Being A Business Owner In A Small Town Isn T Easy, But Emma S Got Than Enough Determination Not To Mention An Excellent Eye For Interior Design There S Only One Problem One Of Her First Guests Of The Season Is Someone She Hoped She D Never See Again As A Famous Landscape Photographer, Connor Pearson Has Traveled Far And Wide Following His Dreams At The Cost Of Losing His First Love Now, Back In Justin Harbor, Connor Is Looking For Than Just A Place To Stay He S Looking For Himself As Emma And Connor Rediscover Their Lost Friendship And Seek To Find Common Ground In The Present, Connor Feels The Tug Of His Small Town Roots Is It Possible That A Man Who S Traveled The World Could Find His Home Where His Dreams Began Can Emma Come To Terms With The Fact That Self Reliance Isn T All It S Cracked Up To Be Will Their Bonds From The Past Weather The Storms Of The Present As Easy As Riding A Bike Will Introduce You To The Salty Air And Calming Waters Of Justin Harbor, The First Novella In A Series Featuring Small Town Women Business Owners First things first, Room by Jillian Edwards is the theme song of this book.Second things second I guess , I loved this book More than One Christmas in Winter , I d venture to say Childhood friends to lovers is one of my favorite tropes and it was in full swing here With the added bonus of the angst Yes please which is so weird because I hate angst in normal books, but for somehow Bell makes it work I loved the characters Emma and Connor were both so good and pure and I want to protect them Their relationship was so sweet, and I was rooting for them the whole time I want to live in Justin Harbor so badly It seems like such a sweet place Small towns are my jam Overall, this was perfection, exactly what I wanted, and I can t wait for book 2 I was sent a copy of this book by the author in exchange for an honest review Though this novella takes place in a different setting from her first novella, I enjoyed Bell Renshaw s first Justin Harbor story Renshaw has created a strong setting, with a firm sense of place Emma and Conner share a history that is tied in with that small town nostalgic feeling of the setting While I knew that Conner s predicament was going to blow up on him eventually, I still found the romance to be very sweet, and it kept my attention throughout the story He just bugged me a little longer than I d have wished I enjoyed the details of Emma s bed and breakfast, as well as the natural setting of the Oregon coast.I wasn t sure how the bike fit into the story, but that turns out to be a sweet, aw, moment in the end Overall, this story has a lot of charm it s the perfect, no worries read for devouring in one sitting I look forward tofrom Belle Renshaw and to visiting Justin Harbor again.I received an advanced copy of this novella, which I chose to review This review is my honest opinion. A sweet little romance filled with dreams and hope Longer review to come.
